Handicrafts

Handicrafts echo the culture, tradition and creativity of the artisans who create them. It distinguishes between a thing that is skilfully hand made to what is mass produced and hence attracts the attention towards the skill and endeavors of the craftsman him/herself. The actual beauty of a piece of handicraft certainly depends on the transparency of material, the glances of a culture and stroke of art. Pakistan has a rich history of handicrafts. The entire wealth of eternal Pakistani handicrafts has survived through ages. The bequest of Pakistani culture promises everything- beauty, dignity, form and style. There are much said about Indian art but people totally forget one aspect of it, i.e., most of the handicrafts Indians inherited is from Muslims' world. As India was ruled by Muslims over centuries and had altered the whole face of handicrafts and foods which the present world is witnessing. Here, I have selected few links to witness the real crafts:
  1. Living room decoration
  2. Textiles
  3. Carpets & Rugs
  4. Leather Bags
